Four Ways We Can Help...

It seems to be the same questions: Is anyone seeing our posts, websites, or our dolls in this social media jungle?  It is hard to be found but the IADR (International-Art-Doll-Registry) is here to help.  No one likes to market their artwork.  After all, we put so much into our art, who has the energy to now push it out into the world?  Again, that is where the IADR helps it's members.

Our next edition of the IADR Art Doll magazine is now in the process of being pulled together.  Just talking with another contributing IADR member this past week (and yes, we may be a little prejudice *smiling*) but we like the articles that are informing and educating.  

​The articles that are sharing what our dollmakers around the world are doing is a wonderful way to travel without the additional cost of a room and plane ticket.  We both agreed that we thought our magazine was amazing!

What does the IADR Art Doll Magazine have to do with your marketing need?  The IADR magazines stay on our website for anyone to view or purchase months or years down the road.  Plus, if an IADR member is currently submitting with the new issue, again it is a way to be seen at no cost to the member.  Here are four ways members make use of the magazine for their marketing?

​​Here are just a few ideas:

​1.  The easiest way is create a DO WHAT YOU LOVE page.  Simply send in three photos and a short blurp about the doll to have a full page layout in the IADR magazine.  In any other magazine that would be almost a $1000 layout fee.  To IADR members it is FREE!  A full page layout is also the biggest BANG for your viewing audience.

2.  Enter the juried shows.  Our Summer Show is now open for entries with a submission Deadline of June 28th, 2024.  ALL entries are featured in the magazine as well as the additional perk of our YouTube channel.  So, you don't only receive the knowledge of how others see your artwork through the judging, but you are getting the additional benefit of promoting your artwork.

​3.  Involvement in the magazine itself.  Contact me either by Facebook Messenger or drop an email at to [email protected] if you would like to be featured in the magazine.  Or if you have an idea that you like to see in the magazine but don't know how to do it or present it, we are more than happy to work with you to get it published.  Are you going to doll shows or participating in them? Do a review about your experience there.  You'll be surprised on how much we want to know about them.  After all, are they worth the time to think about going to them as a marketing event ourselves?  Word-of-mouth is still the best recommendation in the world.

​4.  Keep on posting in Facebook but don't forget the IADR groups.  As a member of the IADR you have 2 (two) opportunities to be seen.  You can post easily in the Public IADR group but as a registered member you can also post in the IADR Member Only group.  More posting space... more visibility.  If you are going to post it once on the IADR, give yourself the additional boost of sharing to the IADR Members Only group or visa versus.  Facebook rewards you by being seen by the more you post.  Plus, if you tag me in your post I then know I can use it for our Facebook Collage we use in the IADR magazine.  Again FREE exposure of your artwork.
