Yes, this is happening Friday Nov 3rd and running through Sunday Nov 5th.  The link will go live at 10 pm MST on Thursday night so those across the pond can be sharing the Event Friday morning.  Even if you are not on the sale page, the IADR (International-Art-Doll-Registry) would appreciate your sharing of the event this weekend and even stopping by to see the amazing work of these fabulous doll artists.

The IADR can't guarantee sales, but if one isn't seen, that for sure means no sales. So I know I have my groups set up for me to be sharing the posts too *smiling*.  Also sales will happen by what links you have posted on your Artist's Studio page connected to the doll.  As I so often say, 'we are stronger together than we are apart' which is the family side of the IADR in how we all help each other.  Just another reminder why it is fun and why I am a proud member of IADR.

Also when using the submission form for the Year-End please check all the boxes for which you want to be considered for.  Make sure if you want to be considered for Rising Star, Best Doll of the Year, and Best Artist of the Year, that you check those boxes to let us know you are competing for those categories.  There will be a different winner for each category.  So even if you put in for all three... and win one of the categories like Best Doll of the Year, you then are removed from the other awards for another artist to have the opportunity to win Best Artist or Rising Star.  This Event has three different opportunities to win.

Don't forget to get me your image to add to the November Sale event if you would like to participate.  Also, any IADR member or supporter that would like to share this event can copy and share this image to post about it.  One of the many ways you can support the event is to let people know you will be participating in this event by posting it to your timeline in social media or even sending it out to your relatives and friends.  There is not a link yet as it doesn't go live until November 3rd.  But that doesn't mean you can't be talking about it now (*smiling*).

We are now reaching the Year End Event which will have a few changes to it too.  For one of them - an Artist can submit for ALL three opportunities for the awards (unless for the Rising Star of 2023, the applicant doesn't meet the qualifications).  That is three opportunities to win one of these large cash awards plus certificate!  Also, if an Artist wins Best Doll of the Year,(as an example), then they are not able to win the other two awards for this year's competition.  Each competitor is only eligible to win one of the three awards.  That means at least three dollmakers will walk away with an award.  This is a great opportunity for past professionals/masters to come back and compete for Year 2023.  Each year past winners may compete again to win that year's awards.  For more information about the Year End requirements check out ​https://www.international-art-doll-registry.com/year-end-2023-submission.html.

Finally, with the new Podcasts, we now have another way to get your images on our Instagram and our Youtube channel.  IADR is all about helping you get seen!  For if you can't be seen you can't make sales or have your dolls enjoyed by others through a gallery.  If you have any other suggestions on how to help IADR grow, I would love to hear them too.  In the meantime, Happy Dollmaking!

With that in mind would you like to know some of the impact this event has had for our website and our Artist's Studio page?  I know I like knowing some of this stuff *smiling*.

So to begin with our website has received over 1,650 visits since the day this event has started on October 2nd.  That is just the visits to the IADR in the past 8 days!

Visitors that went directly to our People's Choice voting page are over 1,050 visits.  The people actually voting has reached over 800 votes.  Amazing and great job everyone!

But another cool statistic is everyone who participated in this event with their character and Artist's Page has had their individual page looked at 250% times more than before the event started.  It averages out that each Artist's Studio page has had at least 35 visits.  That means that even if someone voted for another character, they still took the time to come and look at all the other dolls on the Artist's Studio page of other artists.  So, as a seller, I can't make someone buy.  But as a seller I sure want to give a potential customer an opportunity to see what I created and maybe have for sale.  

With that in mind I want to thank everyone who has participated.  This week is the final days with the results being posted in our IADR Art Doll magazine coming out this weekend.  Congratulations as everyone has and is a winner in this event.
