September Update...

Just a reminder that this weekend is the last one before the People's Choice Event voting officially ends on Monday, September 22nd, 2025 at 12:10 am MST.  Meaning really - really - really early in the morning.

The results will be revealed in the Fall IADR Art Doll magazine to be issued soon after.

​So, get out and vote as we are all winners because this event brings more people to view our Artist's Studio pages more than any other event.

Results from our Themes Polling - We have the results from our recent poll asking for themes for our May IADR Art Doll Convention 2026 and also for our August 2026 online juried show.  The winners are:

​For the May 8-10, 2026 Convention theme - Myths and Legends. 
(More information will be coming out about that especially as we develop our graphics for the convention.)

For the August 2026 Online Juried show theme -  Marine Creatures.

Regarding the 2026 IADR Art Doll Convention, we will be putting out a special issue of the magazine in November 2025.  We are looking for those artists who are wanting to providing Workshops for the convention to please let me know by October 15th, so we can start spreading the word.  Even if you don't know what you want to do for a workshop but want to offer one, let me know.  You can register on-line at (click link below):

Also, the 2026 IADR Art Doll Convention is going to be held a week after the 90th Anniversary of the MIDA event in Florence, Italy.  This is going to be a BIG opportunity to IADR members that wish to help out at the booth we will have at MIDA.

​MIDA will be a wonderful opportunity to promote our own Art Dolls at the IADR exhibit as well as showcasing various other IADR member doll artists throughout the week.  If you wish to learn more about this opportunity then email me at [email protected].
