Looking to the Future...

While I am working on updating the past through getting our Registry all on the website, I just wanted to mention that all dolls do not need to be registered to be added to your Artist's Studio Page.
Why am I bringing this up?  Because as we look to the future, especially for our Christmas Event, your Artist's Page will be linked to your entry.  This will allow the viewing public to see your work. Now whether or not you are putting in a piece to be judged by the people or just wanting to do it for fun, your Artist's Page will be part of the set-up for the page.
I am hoping everyone will want to play with this event as it is a great opportunity for your work to be seen as a gallery or a shop since you can link your Website, Etsy, Ebay or even Facebook to your Studio page.  This is a lovely way to share your story and adventure in creating your artwork.
The Artist's Studio page is for your work, past or present that you would like others to see. There is no timetable for your work here.  If you are wanting to add to your Studio page only, then use the Artist Studio submission form.  A couple of things to point out that could be used better is...
The first is by using the outside link.  If you don't have one, that's fine but if you have any of the above listed sites, why not use this option?  Cross marketing is always a good idea.  It allows people to find you easier and in more than one way in this Social Media jungle.

The second is the Description of the Doll.  This is one part of the form that truly gets under used.  This is where you can share your adventure in how you created your doll.  If you don't feel like doing a big write-up you can also simply copy and paste from your existing link from your Website, Etsy or Facebook page too.  Remember, this is what your potential customer will read to entice them to buy your work.
Again, if you are creating your gallery, then you truly want to explain your piece and what inspired you as people want to share in your experiences in creating the piece.
Finally, if you are Registering your ooak artdoll and want to add it to your Artist's Studio Page too, we have made it easier.  We simply added the extra spot on the Registry form for you to tell us that you want the doll in your Artist's Studio page.  So, No, you do not need to fill out both forms to have your doll appear in both areas (the Registry and your Artist's Studio Page).

and let your light shine for others to see
