The Keeper of Lost Smiles doesn't belong to any specific place. He appears on rainy days, when the air is thinner and the heart is a little more exposed. He doesn't knock. He arrives. He has eyes that seem to know and a smile that asks no questions. When you meet him, you have the strange feeling of having already waited for him. He doesn't speak much. He accompanies you. He stays just long enough for something inside to settle. Then, when the moment is ripe, he looks at you and asks softly: "Will you give me a smile?" In return, he leaves a jar. Not just any jar. Inside, what is needed.
He carries an ancient suitcase, full of rolled-up words and small, hidden wonders. No one knows where he comes from. No one knows where he disappears. They say he doesn't choose you. But the moment. And when the moment arrives, he's already there.
