Alvilde
Alvilde can often be found sewing folk dress when she's not on the dance floor with other folk dance enthusiasts. Traipsing around the countryside humming folk tunes is one of her favourite ways to stay grounded. Doll is crocheted by me with an aluminium wire skeleton so she is poseable.
Clothes detail: Clothes are made with scraps and various items in my stash, and all are handmade and handsewn by me. A white shirt with lace cuffs and lace trim on the neckline. Green bodice in wool damask and a piece of metallic trim serves as a stomacher. A red metallic crochet thread is used as trim. The skirt's waistband and hem is adorned with metallic chrochet thread. Hair: The hair is made with thread leftovers from weaving. It is braided and metallic crochet thread is woven in with a organza ribbon bow at the end. Needle felted ear details, embroidered nose, and plastic safety eyes. Crocheted in crochet cotton.
