Katla
Katla likes to dress up, saunter around and watch others work. She enjoys tasting food and convey her honest opinion. Will protect her loved ones if necessary. Her outfit consists of a linen shift, underdress in late medieval style Greenland, Viking apron dress in wool, cloak in wool and "shoes" in suede. Celtic/Viking motifs embroidered with mercerised cotton, imitated tortoise broach with beads and on the belt there's a pouch, knife and eating spoon. Hair decoration of wire with beads and wire swirls sewn to the hair.
A crocheted doll with polyfill, aluminium armature and thread eyes. Height: 12,5cm The doll is handmade, clothes handsewn and upcycled materials used for both hair and clothing.
