She is an Asian dragonfly fairy named Izumi which means spring or fountain. She shelters herself with a lotus leaf from a fresh spring drizzle in a pond with lotus flowers and leaves.

The figure is almost 24 cm (9.4 inches) tall and approximately 29 cm (11.4 inches) all with the base and the leaf. I used a mix of polymer clay on wire armature for the body. For the hands I used cosclay on hands wire armature. Her eyes are entirely painted and with UV resin, made by me. I colored the doll with genesis paint. Her hair is in suri alpaca fiber The dress is made of silk gauze colored by me and treated with fabric stiffener. I created the wings with a wire structure and fantasy film. I created entirely mold veneirs before modellated by me to create veins more similar to lotus leaves. The leaf that she holds in her hand and all the others and the flowers in flexible cold porcelain painted with oil paint and pan pastel, decorated with UV resin. The base is made of wood, painted with acrylics and for the lake effect I used UV resin. I used various embellishments like glitter, gems etc.
