Sarasvati's dimensions are approximately 36"H x 20"W x 20"W, with arms outstretched. Interior construction is primarily aluminum wire and soft fills. Exterior skin is creamy white cotton. Hair is 100% Merino wool in black. Hair and facial features are embroidered of cotton. Her lips are red and eyes are brown. Attire is cotton, exclusive of trim. Tassels are vintage and probably rayon. Vintage ribbon is silk. Her neck is autographed by the artist, and a brass tag identifies her as the fifth doll in the Goddesses 2024 Series.

Sarasvati is a Hindu goddess who represents the river of consciousness. She is usually portrayed as a white skinned young woman. Her gifts to humanity include mathematics, music, arts, and the alphabet. She also represents spiritual wealth and abundance. Although she is often shown wearing white robes, I have adorned her in a colorful sari in an Eastern print, trimmed with numbers, letters, and decorative motifs.
