Kuan Yin is a Chinese goddess of compassion and mercy, a woman who refused to ascend to heavenly realms as long as humanity needed her.
Kuan Yin stands approximately 36"H x 20"W x 20"D, with arms outstretched. She stands on her own. Her internal construction is primarily aluminum wire and softer fills. Her hair is embroidered Merino wool. Her facial features are embroidered on cotton skin. Her cotton printed blouse, embroidered skirt, and tailored white linen robe are a modern interpretation for this timeless goddess. Kuan Yin is autographed by the artist, and has a brass identifier tag on her waistband.
