The Candy Floss Fairy
Recipe for Winter Blues: As the last few weeks of winter take the stage in the eternal dance of the seasons, the villagers can’t help but feel the dread and despair of the seemingly never ending cold. Since the fires of yule had shone their last glister upon the world, it seemed like the season of ice and snow would never loosen its grip. But as we know, when hope is at its lowest, and all seems forever lost, there is always one type of magical being, able to restore the shimmer of hope in our hearts, the fairies. One particular frosty day, a gentle fairy rode into the village with a dainty cart filled with the most delicious, magical, sugary treats. This, was the Candy Floss Fairy. The villagers watched in disbelief as each turn of the cart’s wheels, transformed the frozen, dull sand it rode upon, into a trail of the greenest grass, with delicate spring flowers woven through it like a magical tapestry, spreading delight and happiness in the hearts of all the people. As the Candy Floss Fairy hands out her delicious, magical candy floss, the comforting warmth of joy spreads throughout the village, melting away the snow and ice of winter, and without the villagers even noticing, the winter blues had completely disappeared, as the scent of spring flowers filled the air with sweet delight.
