Workshop Description:
In this full day class (8 hours), we will explore not only the range of emotions we can add to our sculpted faces but also dive deeper into the underlying structures which facilitate said expressions. Students will work in non-drying clay on a 4 inch resin skull so they can rework their pieces as much as needed. Upon this skull, we will apply the muscles, fat pads, skin, and skin textures. Along our journey, we will take little side trips to see how activating certain facial muscles will create expression on the final layer of the face. |
