The 2027 Art Doll Exposition in Florence, Italy has been canceled.  Watch for more upcoming events for 2026 and 2027 to be posted. One of those ways to stay informed is to follow us on Instagram.

We are in the process of creating a series of classes on how to use Instagram for your best possible reach.

One of the goals is that if IADR members know how Instagram works and several of us are using all the same tools, think of the improvement of reach that would be possible.

Together we are stronger than we are apart.  Social media is confusing on a good day, but if you knew that within the IADR there was a nucleus of artists all supporting each other, simply because we all understood the process, that increases the reach of any post a 100 times.  It this is something that you could see using for yourself and want to be a part of, then email Lesley at iadregistry@outlook.com. This process is in it beginning stage, so sign up now to avoid missing out on any tips or helpful hints.  Just put in the subject line "You're IN!"  We are also looking to expand this to our Youtube channel too!

How in-person events build doll collectors and doll connections is what Bambi and I talk about in this month's International Art Doll Registry podcast.

We discuss the advantages of being in a brick and mortar setup compared to doing fairs and markets. Join us as we look at the positive aspects of making connections with potential doll collectors and followers.
Yes, People's Choice is just around the corner!  Deadline to submit your entry is September 16th!
This is the first time of collaboration with ART DOLLS Magazine.  First reason to be involved is that this event is about being seen and the reach has just expanded with this collaboration.

The second reason to join in is the opportunity to win being on the cover of the October issue of the ART DOLLS Magazine.  The more you share the link with friends and family so they may vote for you is a win/win situation by having others see your work.
Live Voting begins September 18th and runs to October 2nd.  The link will be emailed to all entries as well as being posted here next week.

For IADR members, this is the last juried show of the year that goes towards your requirement of having participated in at least one IADR show for the year to be eligible for the Year End competition.  The Year End Event is for IADR members only and a member must have competed in at least one show at some time this 2026 year.  So, if you haven't had a chance to enter a show before, now is the time to get your submission in if you want to also compete in the Year End Event.
